Frank Oberlin

Frank Oberlin (March 29, 1876 – January 6, 1952), known as "Flossie", was born Frank Rufus and hailed from Elsie, Michigan. At 6-foot-1 and 165 pounds, he batted right-handed and threw right. He played in the major leagues from 1906 through 1910, spending most of his career with the Washington Senators of the American League. His broader professional career stretched from 1902 to 1916, bracketing his major-league years on both ends. To collectors, he is known from his appearance on T206 White Border. He died January 6, 1952 in Ashley, Indiana and is interred at Hamilton Cemetery in Hamilton, Indiana.
