Frank Schulte (September 17, 1882 – October 2, 1949), known as "Wildfire", was born Frank M. and hailed from Cochecton, New York. At 5-foot-11 and 170 pounds, he batted left-handed and threw right. He played in the major leagues from 1904 through 1918, a 14-season run, spending most of his career with the Chicago Cubs of the National League. His broader professional career stretched from 1902 to 1922, bracketing his major-league years on both ends. To collectors, he is known from his appearance on E254 Colgan's Chips. He died October 2, 1949 in Oakland, California.
