Fred Beebe (December 31, 1879 – October 30, 1957) was born Frederick Leonard and hailed from Lincoln, Nebraska. At 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds, he batted right-handed and threw right. He played in the major leagues from 1906 through 1916, a 10-season run, spending most of his career with the St. Louis Cardinals of the National League. His broader professional career stretched from 1905 to 1922, bracketing his major-league years on both ends. To collectors, he is known from his appearance on T204 Ramly. He died October 30, 1957 in Elgin, Illinois and is interred at Parkholm Cemetery in La Grange, Illinois.
