Fred Lake

Frederick Edgar Lake (1883–1937) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player born in Moosomin, Saskatchewan. One of the earliest professional players in the game, Lake competed across 181 games in leagues including the National Hockey Association, Eastern Canada Amateur Hockey Association, and International Professional Hockey League. He began his senior career with the Moosomin Hockey Club in 1900–01 before turning professional with the Pittsburgh Keystones in 1902. Lake also played for the Portage Lakes Hockey Club and the Michigan Soo Indians before returning to Canada, where he won two Stanley Cups with the Ottawa Senators in 1909 and 1911.
