Gary Bromley

Gary Bert "Bones" Bromley (born January 19, 1950) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who played in both the NHL and WHA. In the NHL, he suited up for the Buffalo Sabres and Vancouver Canucks, appearing in 136 games and posting a 54-44-28 record. He also played 67 WHA games with the Calgary Cowboys and Winnipeg Jets, going 31-21-3. Bromley is perhaps best remembered for the distinctive "Skull" mask he wore with the Canucks, a design inspired by his nickname, "Bones."
