Gary Knafelc

Gary Knafelc (January 2, 1932 – December 19, 2022) was a wide receiver and tight end who played ten seasons in the National Football League. Born in Pueblo, Colorado, he played college football at the University of Colorado under head coach Dal Ward. Selected 14th overall in the 1954 NFL Draft by the Chicago Cardinals, he was traded to the Green Bay Packers that same season. He spent the bulk of his career in Green Bay, where he was a member of Vince Lombardi's NFL championship teams in 1961 and 1962, and was later inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame. He finished his career with the San Francisco 49ers.
