Gavin Kirk

Gavin Kirk (born December 6, 1951) is a British professional ice hockey player who appeared in 422 games across the World Hockey Association. Drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the third round of the 1971 NHL Draft, Kirk instead pursued studies at Loyola College before joining the Ottawa Nationals when the WHA launched in 1972. He went on to play six of the league's seven seasons, suiting up for the Ottawa Nationals, Toronto Toros, Calgary Cowboys, Birmingham Bulls, and Edmonton Oilers, and finished 31st in games played in WHA history. As a youth, he competed in the 1964 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament representing Don Mills.
