Gene Peacosh

Eugene Michael "Gene" Peacosh (born September 28, 1948) is a retired professional ice hockey player who grew up in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia after being born in Manitoba. Playing for the Penticton Broncos, he won the Okanagan Junior Hockey League scoring championship with 94 points and set a league record with 51 goals, helping the club win both the regular season and Fred Page Cup post-season titles. He went on to play for the Johnstown Jets in the Eastern Hockey League from 1968 to 1972, recording 100-plus points in multiple seasons. Peacosh appeared in 367 World Hockey Association games with the New York Raiders, New York Golden Blades, Jersey Knights, San Diego Mariners, Edmonton Oilers, and Indianapolis Racers.
