George James Kunz, born July 5, 1947, was an American professional football offensive lineman who played in the National Football League from 1969 to 1980. He played college football at the University of Notre Dame, where he was a tackle and a two-year starter at right offensive tackle. A member of the 1966 national championship team, Kunz served as co-captain of the Fighting Irish in 1968 and was named a consensus first-team All-American that year. He was also a National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete honoree in 1968, was voted Academic All-American, and won an NCAA post-graduate scholarship. He was regarded as the best offensive lineman of his draft class in 1969.

Kunz was selected in the first round of the 1969 NFL/AFL draft with the second overall pick by the Atlanta Falcons. He played for the Falcons from 1969 to 1974 before joining the Baltimore Colts, with whom he played from 1975 to 1980. Over his career he was selected to seven Pro Bowls.

In his later years, Kunz worked as an attorney practicing in Las Vegas, Nevada.
