George Perring

George Perring (August 13, 1884 – August 20, 1960). He was born in Sharon, Wisconsin and died in Beloit, Wisconsin. He stood 6 feet 0 inches and weighed 190 pounds. He batted and threw right-handed. He debuted in the majors in 1908 and played his last big-league season in 1915, a stretch of 8 seasons, primarily with the Cleveland Naps of the American League. His full professional career, including the minor leagues, ran from 1905 through 1919. His card presence in this catalog is on the T206 White Border tobacco issue, distributed by the American Tobacco Company between 1909 and 1911. He is interred at Eastlawn Cemetery in Beloit, Wisconsin.
