George Webster

George Delano Webster (November 25, 1945 – April 19, 2007) played linebacker in the AFL and NFL for the Houston Oilers, Pittsburgh Steelers, and New England Patriots. He played college football at Michigan State as a defensive roverback, earning consensus All-American honors in 1965 and unanimous All-American recognition in 1966. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1987. Webster was named AFL Rookie of the Year in 1967 and earned first-team All-AFL honors from 1967 to 1969. The Pro Football Hall of Fame named him to the All-Time AFL Team at linebacker in 1970, making him the youngest player on that squad.
