Samuel George "Goldie" Prodgers was a Canadian ice hockey player born in London, Ontario on February 18, 1891. He began with the London Athletics before turning professional with the Waterloo Colts of the Ontario Professional Hockey League in 1910–11. When Waterloo folded, he joined the Quebec Bulldogs of the National Hockey Association, winning the Stanley Cup with them in 1912. His career took him through the Victoria Aristocrats, Montreal Wanderers, Montreal Canadiens, Toronto 228th Battalion, Toronto St. Pats, and Hamilton Tigers. He claimed a second Stanley Cup with the Canadiens in 1916 and retired in 1925. He died October 25, 1935.
