Gord Hannigan

John Gordon Hannigan (born January 19, 1929) was a Canadian professional ice hockey forward who played in the National Hockey League for the Toronto Maple Leafs from 1952 to 1956. A left winger and centre, Hannigan came up through St. Michael's College School and was among the junior players granted a trial by Leafs president Conn Smythe in 1949 after four Toronto forwards were injured. He also skated for the Pittsburgh Hornets and Rochester Americans in the American Hockey League and the Edmonton Flyers in the Western Hockey League. He died November 16, 1966.
