Gordon Labossiere

Gordon William Labossiere, born January 2, 1940, is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played 215 games in the National Hockey League between 1963 and 1971 and 301 games in the World Hockey Association between 1972 and 1976.
In junior hockey he dominated the Manitoba Junior Hockey League in 1958, leading the league in scoring and goals while earning First Team All-Star, Most Valuable Player, and the scoring championship that season. He carried that form into the professional ranks, winning the Eastern Professional Hockey League scoring title and a First All-Star Team selection in 1963. In the American Hockey League he was named to the First All-Star Team in 1967 and took the John B. Sollenberger Trophy as the league's leading scorer, adding a Second All-Star Team selection in 1970.
Following his NHL career, Labossiere moved to the World Hockey Association, where he won the Avco Cup championship in both 1974 and 1975.
He is an Honoured Member of the Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame.
