Greg Larson

Gregory Kenneth Larson (1939–2024) played center in the NFL for the New York Giants across 13 seasons, starting in 179 games — second in team history at the time of his retirement in 1974. He played college football at Minnesota, where he was a team captain, an All-Big Ten selection, and a three-year letterman on the 1960 national championship squad. The Giants selected him in the sixth round of the 1961 NFL draft. Despite seven football-related surgeries, including two on each knee, he missed only three games over his career. He was inducted into Minnesota's M Club Hall of Fame in 2010.
