Gregg Boddy

Gregg Allan Boddy (born March 19, 1949) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman. Selected 27th overall by the Los Angeles Kings in the 1969 NHL Amateur Draft, Boddy passed through the Montreal Canadiens organization before landing with the Vancouver Canucks in 1971. He spent five seasons on Vancouver's blueline, establishing himself as a reliable defensive presence after his mid-season debut in 1971–72, when he posted 2 goals and 7 points in 40 games. He later played in the World Hockey Association with the San Diego Mariners and Edmonton Oilers before finishing his career in the Japan Ice Hockey League, retiring in 1979.
