Clarence Henry "Happy" Day (June 14, 1901 – February 17, 1990) was a Canadian professional hockey player who spent 14 seasons in the National Hockey League with the Toronto Maple Leafs and New York Americans. Born in Owen Sound, Ontario, Day went on to a 33-year NHL career spanning roles as player, referee, coach, and assistant general manager, with 28 of those years tied to the Maple Leafs organization. His name appeared on the Stanley Cup seven times, all with Toronto — as team captain in 1932, as coach in 1942, 1945, 1947, 1948, and 1949, and as assistant manager in 1951. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1961.
