Harold Carmichael

Harold Carmichael (born September 22, 1949) played wide receiver in the NFL for fourteen seasons, spending the majority of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles (1971–1983) before finishing with the Dallas Cowboys in 1984. He played college football at Southern University, where he walked on and earned All-conference honors as a senior. At 6 feet 8 inches, Carmichael is tied with Dan McGwire for the tallest player to record a touchdown pass in NFL history. After retiring, he returned to the Eagles organization as director of player development and alumni from 1998 to 2014.
