Harry Bemis

Harry Parker (known as Harry Bemis) (February 1, 1874 – May 23, 1947) was born in Farmington, New Hampshire. His professional career ran from 1902 through 1910, placing him squarely in the deadball era, and he is most closely identified with the Cleveland Naps of the AL. After his major-league days ended in 1910, he continued in professional ball through 1915. He was listed at 155 pounds. He batted and threw right-handed. For collectors, his most recognized appearance is in the E90-1 American Caramel set. His documented card checklist includes E90-1 American Caramel, E92 Croft's Candy, E92 Croft's Cocoa, E92 Dockman & Sons Gum, and E92 Nadja Caramels. He died on May 23, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio and was interred at Elmhurst Park Cemetery in Avon, Ohio.
