Harry Krause

Harry Krause (July 12, 1888 – October 23, 1940), known as "Hal", was born Harry William and hailed from San Francisco, California. At 5-foot-10 and 165 pounds, he was a switch-hitter who threw left. He played in the major leagues from 1908 through 1912, spending most of his career with the Philadelphia Athletics of the American League. His broader professional career stretched from 1907 to 1929, bracketing his major-league years on both ends. His card record includes appearances on E125 American Caramel Die Cuts, E90-1 American Caramel, and E95 Philadelphia Caramel. He died October 23, 1940 in San Francisco, California and is interred at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma, California.
