Dossier

Harry Frederick Schuh (September 25, 1942 – May 20, 2013) was an American professional football offensive tackle who played in the American Football League and the National Football League. Born in Philadelphia, he attended Neshaminy High School in Langhorne, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where he played football. As a 6 ft 2 in, 214 lb fullback, he was part of a team that compiled a 28–2–2 record across his three varsity seasons. As a junior in 1959, his team won the Lower Bucks County Football League championship, and he led the league in scoring with 84 points in LBCL games and 108 points overall that season.

At Memphis State University, Schuh played as a lineman and was named an All-American by numerous entities in both 1963 and 1964, appearing in a number of college all-star games. He went on to start at right offensive tackle for the Oakland Raiders in four consecutive AFL/AFC championship games from 1967 through 1970. During that span, he was selected to play in the AFL All-Star Game and/or named first- or second-team All-AFL in every season from 1967 through 1970.
