Hartland Monahan

Hartland Patrick Monahan (March 31, 1951 – December 9, 2023) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player born in Montreal, Quebec. Selected by the California Golden Seals in the 1971 NHL Entry Draft, he went on to play 334 NHL games across six franchises — the New York Rangers, Washington Capitals, Pittsburgh Penguins, Los Angeles Kings, Quebec Nordiques, and St. Louis Blues — recording 61 goals and 80 assists before retiring after the 1980–81 season. His father-in-law was Hall of Famer Bernie "Boom Boom" Geoffrion, and his son Shane Monahan played Major League Baseball.
