Henry Wendell Jordan (January 26, 1935 – February 21, 1977) was an American professional football player who played defensive tackle in the National Football League for 13 seasons with the Cleveland Browns and Green Bay Packers. Born in Emporia, Virginia, Jordan graduated from Warwick High School in Newport News in 1953, where he stood out as a leader, scholar, and athlete. He served multiple times as class president and lettered in football, track, and wrestling. He was a football co-captain and earned All-Tidewater, All-Eastern District, and honorable mention All-State recognition. In wrestling, he won the State AAU Heavyweight Wrestling Championship as a junior.

Jordan played college football for the Virginia Cavaliers and was selected in the fifth round of the 1957 NFL draft. He played in the NFL from 1957 to 1969, beginning his career with the Cleveland Browns before joining the Green Bay Packers. He is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

In 1985, a college scholarship fund was created in his honor to assist a graduating Warwick senior in attending college, and the Henry Jordan Memorial Scholarship Fund was formally established in 2008.
