Dossier

Homer Carroll Jones (1941–2023) was a wide receiver who played in the NFL for the New York Giants (1964–1969) and the Cleveland Browns (1970). Born in Pittsburg, Texas, he attended Texas Southern University, where he competed in track and field alongside football, finishing third in the 220-yard dash at the 1962 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
