Samuel Howard "Howie" Camnitz (August 22, 1881 – March 2, 1960) was a professional baseball player. He was born in Covington, Kentucky. He stood 5'9" and weighed 169 pounds, batting and throwing right-handed. He played in the major leagues from 1904 through 1915, primarily with the Pittsburgh Pirates in the NL. His broader professional career spanned 1902 to 1915. He appears on E90-1 American Caramel, E97 Briggs Lozenges, and T206 White Border. He died on March 2, 1960 in Louisville, Kentucky. He is buried at Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
