Jerry Lee May (December 14, 1943 – June 30, 1996) was an American professional baseball catcher who played in Major League Baseball from 1964 through 1973. Signed as an amateur free agent by the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1961 after a career as a pitcher and outfielder in American Legion Baseball, May was converted to catcher by the organization. He served as the Pirates' regular catcher from 1967 to 1969 and was behind the plate on June 12, 1970, when Dock Ellis threw a no-hitter against the San Diego Padres. May later played for the Kansas City Royals and New York Mets.
