Jim Ligon

James Thomas "Goose" Ligon (February 22, 1944 – April 17, 2004) was an American professional basketball player who spent seven seasons in the American Basketball Association. The 6'7" forward/center from Kokomo, Indiana played a season with the Harlem Magicians in 1962–63 before joining the Kentucky Colonels in 1967. Over his ABA career with the Colonels, Pittsburgh Condors, and Virginia Squires, Ligon averaged 12.8 points and 10.9 rebounds per game and was selected to the 1969 ABA All-Star Game. A ruptured Achilles tendon in 1973–74 ended his playing career. He died in 2004 at age 60.
