James Washington, known as "Sunny Jim", was born July 12, 1881 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and died May 10, 1941 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He made his major-league debut in 1906 and was associated chiefly with the Brooklyn Robins, with his final big-league appearance coming in 1909. He stood 5-foot-9 and was listed at 165 pounds, and batted and threw left-handed. His likeness appears on the T206 White Border, E90-1 American Caramel, and E93 Standard Caramel. He is buried at South Side Cemetery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
