Jim Wilson

James Alger Wilson (February 20, 1922 – September 2, 1986) was a right-handed pitcher from San Diego who attended San Diego State University and spent parts of 12 seasons in the major leagues between 1945 and 1958. He pitched for five franchises across six cities, including the Boston Red Sox, St. Louis Browns/Baltimore Orioles, Philadelphia Athletics, Boston/Milwaukee Braves, and Chicago White Sox. Wilson compiled a .491 winning percentage over 175 decisions and was selected to three All-Star Games (1954–56), representing both leagues. He threw the first no-hit, no-run game in Milwaukee's major league history. After his playing career he served as the third general manager in Milwaukee Brewers franchise history.
