Jimmie Hall

Jimmie Randolph Hall (born March 17, 1938, in Mount Holly, North Carolina) was a left-handed outfielder who played eight seasons in Major League Baseball. A two-time All-Star, Hall broke into the majors with the Minnesota Twins in 1963 and spent four seasons there before moving on to the California Angels, Cleveland Indians, New York Yankees, Chicago Cubs, and Atlanta Braves. Before his professional career, he starred at Belmont High School and in American Legion ball, where his 1954 team finished runner-up in the American Legion World Series. He signed with the Washington Senators as an amateur free agent in June 1956.
