Jimmy Williams

James Thomas Williams (December 20, 1876 - January 16, 1965). He was a native of St. Louis, Missouri, listed in playing days at 5'9", 175 lbs. He batted right-handed and threw right-handed. His major-league career ran from 1899 through 1909, primarily with the St. Louis Browns of the American League. His broader professional ledger — including minor-league seasons — extends from 1895 through 1915. On the cardboard side, his vintage presence is anchored to the T206 White Border issue, which is where collectors of the period most commonly encounter him. He died on January 16, 1965 in St. Petersburg, Florida. He is interred at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
