James Thomas Williams (December 20, 1876 - January 16, 1965). He was a native of St. Louis, Missouri, listed in playing days at 5'9", 175 lbs. He batted right-handed and threw right-handed. His major-league career ran from 1899 through 1909, primarily with the St. Louis Browns of the American League. His broader professional ledger — including minor-league seasons — extends from 1895 through 1915.
