Jocelyn Guevremont

Jocelyn Marcel Guèvremont (born March 1, 1951) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman who played nine seasons in the National Hockey League from 1971 to 1980. He began his career as a junior with the Montreal Junior Canadiens, earning selection to the Ontario Hockey Association Second and First All-Star Teams in consecutive years and winning the Max Kaminsky Trophy in 1971 as the OHA's most outstanding defenceman. He also won the Memorial Cup in 1969 and 1970.

Drafted in the first round, third overall, by the Vancouver Canucks in the 1971 NHL Amateur Draft, Guèvremont was traded to the Buffalo Sabres in 1974 and then to the New York Rangers in 1979. Over his NHL career he played for all three clubs. With the Sabres he reached the 1975 Stanley Cup Finals. He was also a member of Team Canada for the 1972 Summit Series, though he did not play.

He retired in 1980 due to chronic shoulder problems. After his playing career, he served as a coach at the junior level, spending time in both the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and the Ontario Hockey League.
