Joe Ironstone

Joseph Kelly Ironstone (June 28, 1898 – December 15, 1972) was a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender born in Sudbury, Ontario. He played professionally from 1921 to 1936, beginning his career with the Sudbury Wolves of the Northern Ontario Hockey Association. Ironstone appeared in two NHL games, suiting up for the New York Americans and the Toronto Maple Leafs, while spending the bulk of his career in the minor professional leagues. He was the second Jewish player to appear in the NHL, following Sam Rothschild, when he played one game for the New York Americans during the 1925–26 season.
