Joe Klukay

Joe Klukay (November 6, 1922 – February 3, 2006) was a Canadian ice hockey forward born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Known as "The Duke of Padocah," Klukay began his NHL career with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1943 and later played for the Boston Bruins before leaving the league after the 1956 season. He won four Stanley Cup championships with Toronto (1947, 1948, 1949, 1951) and was the first Sault Ste. Marie native to play in the NHL All-Star Game, appearing in the first three official installments from 1947 to 1949. He finished his career with the Windsor Bulldogs, winning the 1963 Allan Cup.
