Joe Marconi

Joe Marconi (February 6, 1934 – August 23, 1992) was a professional football fullback from Frederickton, Pennsylvania. He played college football at West Virginia University, where he rushed for 998 yards on 181 carries, averaging 5.5 yards per carry with 18 touchdowns, helping the Mountaineers to a 31–7 record over four seasons. Selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the 1956 NFL Draft, he accumulated 1,769 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns with Los Angeles before being traded to the Chicago Bears prior to the 1962 season.
