Joel Edward Horlen (August 14, 1937 – April 10, 2022) was a right-handed pitcher who played in Major League Baseball from 1961 to 1972, spending most of his career with the Chicago White Sox before finishing with the Oakland Athletics. He attended Oklahoma State University, where he was part of the 1959 College World Series championship team. From 1964 to 1968, Horlen led all American League pitchers with a 2.32 ERA. He finished his career with 116 wins, 117 losses, a 3.11 ERA, and 1,065 strikeouts in 2,002 innings pitched, earning a World Series ring with Oakland in 1972.
