John Henry Dussault Williams (August 27, 1968 – March 6, 2004) was the son of Hall of Fame outfielder Ted Williams and his third wife, Dolores Wettach. Born in Brattleboro, Vermont, he was raised by his mother on a farm near Putney, Vermont after his parents divorced in 1972. He attended Vermont Academy before earning a B.S. in marketing from the University of Maine in 1991. In 1992, he co-founded a sports card company bearing his father's name alongside Grand Slam Marketing, entering the industry during the height of the sports card boom.
