John Frederick Peirson (July 21, 1925 – April 16, 2021) was a Canadian winger who spent 11 seasons in the NHL with the Boston Bruins from 1946 to 1958. Born in Winnipeg and raised in Montreal, he played for the Montreal Junior Canadiens before serving with the Canadian Army in Europe during World War II. He played one season of university hockey with the McGill Redmen, winning the Queen's Cup in 1946, before signing with Boston. During his NHL career he earned two All-Star selections and appeared in three Stanley Cup Finals, including 1953. After retiring he served as a Bruins broadcaster for more than two decades.
