Ken Griffey

George Kenneth Griffey Sr. (born April 10, 1950) played outfield in Major League Baseball from 1973 through 1991. A product of Donora, Pennsylvania, he spent his most prominent years with the Cincinnati Reds, where he batted over .300 in five seasons as part of the Big Red Machine lineup that won three division titles and two World Series championships between 1973 and 1976. A three-time All-Star, Griffey later played for the New York Yankees, Atlanta Braves, and Seattle Mariners. In 1990–91 he and his son Ken Griffey Jr. were teammates on the Mariners for 51 games. He was inducted into the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame in 2004.
