Kenneth Dale Holtzman (November 3, 1945 – April 15, 2024) was a left-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball from 1965 through 1979. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, he attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign before the Chicago Cubs selected him in the fourth round of the 1965 draft. With Chicago he threw two no-hitters and later joined the Oakland Athletics dynasty that won three consecutive World Series championships from 1972 to 1974. A two-time All-Star, Holtzman won 20 games for Oakland in 1973. He also pitched for the Baltimore Orioles and New York Yankees and is a member of the Chicago Cubs Hall of Fame.
