Ken Mendenhall

Ken Mendenhall (born August 11, 1948, in Enid, Oklahoma) was a center who played college football for the Oklahoma Sooners, earning All-American honors in 1969. He blocked for Heisman Trophy winner Steve Owens during that season. Drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the fifth round of the 1970 NFL Draft, Mendenhall was traded multiple times before settling with the Baltimore Colts, where he spent the bulk of his career. Over ten NFL seasons, he started 118 consecutive games before retiring after the 1980 season.
