Ken Reardon

Kenneth Joseph Reardon (April 1, 1921 – March 15, 2008) was a Canadian defenceman who played for the Montreal Canadiens in the National Hockey League. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Reardon was a physical player known for endurance and toughness, often continuing through injuries. He played two seasons with Montreal before enlisting in the Canadian Army in 1942, winning the Allan Cup with the Ottawa Commandos in 1943. He returned to the Canadiens and won the Stanley Cup in 1946, notably facing his brother Terry Reardon on the opposing side in that series. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1966.
