King Hill

Haynes King, born January 9, 2001, is an American professional football quarterback. He attended Longview High School in Longview, Texas, where he played under his father, John King, the school's head coach since 2004. As a junior in 2018, he led the Lobos to their first state title in 81 years. As a senior, he was selected to the 2020 Under Armour All-American Game, and he committed to Texas A&M University.

King played college football first for the Texas A&M Aggies and later for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. In his first year at Texas A&M in 2020, he appeared in two games as a backup to Kellen Mond. He was named the team's starting quarterback prior to the 2021 season. On September 11, 2021, against Colorado, King suffered a lower right leg injury on a scramble in the first quarter and was out for the remainder of the game, replaced by sophomore Zach Calzada.

He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League in 2026, the team for which he plays as a quarterback.
