Larry Brown Jr., born November 30, 1969, is an American former professional football player who played cornerback in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders. He attended Los Angeles High School, where he earned All-city honors in football and track. Receiving no scholarship offers, he began his collegiate career at Los Angeles Southwest College as a running back before being moved to cornerback during his sophomore season, when he earned All-league honors with 61 tackles and four interceptions while also competing in track. As a junior he transferred to Texas Christian University and was named the starter at left cornerback, collecting 27 tackles, one interception, and one pass defensed through the first five games before an ankle injury ended his season. As a senior he regained the starting position, registering 75 tackles, which placed fifth on the team, along with two interceptions and a team-leading 10 passes defensed. The Cowboys selected him in the 12th round of the 1991 NFL draft. He went on to play for both Dallas and Oakland during his professional career. Brown was named the Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl XXX.
