Lee Roy Robbins (February 11, 1922 – April 8, 1968) was an American professional basketball player who attended the University of Colorado. He spent two seasons in the Basketball Association of America with the Providence Steam Rollers from 1947 to 1949. Robbins was killed on April 8, 1968, in Billings, Montana, shot by Gary L. Quigg, who was convicted of murder after Robbins discovered him breaking into his car. Quigg received a life sentence and was paroled in 2006, though a prior parole had been revoked for drug and alcohol violations.
