Lee Tannehill

Lee Ford was born October 26, 1880 in Dayton, Kentucky, and died February 16, 1938 in Live Oak, Florida. He made his major-league debut in 1903 and was associated chiefly with the Chicago White Sox, with his final big-league appearance coming in 1912. His broader professional career — including minor-league service — extended through 1918. He stood 5-foot-11 and was listed at 170 pounds, and batted and threw right-handed. His likeness survives in the cardboard record on the E254 Colgan's Chips issue. He is buried at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Live Oak, Florida.
