Leif Holmqvist

Leif Erik "Honken" Holmqvist (born 12 November 1942) is a retired Swedish ice hockey goaltender. Playing primarily in Sweden, he won the Golden Puck award twice with AIK, one of only four players to achieve the honor twice. He also played a season with the London Lions in England and one with the Indianapolis Racers in the United States. Holmqvist represented Sweden at the 1968 and 1972 Winter Olympics and was named best goaltender at the 1969 IIHF World Championships. After retiring, he coached in the Norwegian National League. He was inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 1999.
