Len Elmore

Leonard J. Elmore, born March 28, 1952, is an American former National Basketball Association player who later worked as a sportscaster and lawyer. He attended Power Memorial Academy in New York City, leading its basketball team to the City championship and recognition as the "Number 1 Team in the Nation" in 1970. He went on to the University of Maryland, College Park, graduating in 1974, where he was a three-time All-ACC selection and earned All-American honors in 1974. He remains Maryland's all-time leading rebounder in both total rebounds and rebounding average.

Elmore played professionally from 1974 to 1984, a ten-year career that began with two seasons for the Indiana Pacers in the American Basketball Association. He continued with the Pacers in the NBA and also played for the Kansas City Kings, the Milwaukee Bucks, the New Jersey Nets, and the New York Knicks.

After his playing career, Elmore became a college basketball analyst, working for ESPN and Fox Sports, and serving in the same role for CBS Sports' coverage of the NCAA Tournament and the NBA. In addition to his broadcasting work, he is a lawyer.
