Leo Crystal Klier

Leo "Crystal" Klier (May 21, 1923 – June 4, 2005) was an American professional basketball player who played guard/forward at 6'2". He attended Notre Dame, where he earned consensus first-team All-American honors in both 1944 and 1946, setting the school's single-season scoring record in 1944. He missed the 1944–45 season while serving in the U.S. Navy. Professionally, Klier played for the Indianapolis Kautskys in the NBL before moving to the Fort Wayne Pistons, appearing in 113 games over two seasons and averaging 7.4 points per game. He finished with the Anderson Packers in 1950–51.
