Lionel Aldridge

Lionel Aldridge (February 14, 1941 – February 12, 1998) was a defensive end who played eleven seasons in the NFL with the Green Bay Packers and San Diego Chargers. Born in Evergreen, Louisiana, he played college football at Utah State University, where he was co-captain and an All-Skyline Conference tackle. Selected by Green Bay in the fourth round of the 1963 NFL draft, he was among the few rookies to earn a starting role under head coach Vince Lombardi. As a Packer, he was part of three consecutive NFL Championship teams (1965–67) and earned rings in Super Bowls I and II before finishing his career with two seasons in San Diego.
